Do you take insurance?

I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield only. While I am considered out-of-network with all other insurance companies, I can provide paperwork that you can submit to your insurer for reimbursement.

How much do appointments cost out of pocket?

At this time my rates are as follows:

Psychiatric Evaluation: $275
Medication & therapy follow-up: $225
Therapy only session: $150
Medication only follow-up: $145

Do I have to take medication to work with you?

Nope! If my clinical assessment is indicative of medication likely being helpful, I will recommend it, but by no means does that make it obligatory. Often times clients will start with me for therapy but are on the fence about meds and eventually we add them in when it feels appropriate.

I’m not entirely sure what I need, but I know I need support. Can I still work with you?

Yes! It is my job to do a thorough assessment of each client and provide evidence-based, clinical recommendations, a skill-set I have honed through years of education, training, and experience. It is your job to show up and tell me your story so that I can learn about you and provide my recommendations.

Do you see your clients in person or virtually?

I currently see all my clients via Zoom. The convenience and flexibility telehealth provides is hard to beat. I do have a (very) small office, however, and would be happy to see you in person if that is preferred.

What is your cancellation policy?

I ask clients to notify me as far in advance as possible if they need to cancel or reschedule, but at least 24 hours (weekends not included) prior to the scheduled appointment. Clients who do not cancel their appointment 24 hours in advance, or do not show for their appointment, are charged $100. Insurance companies cannot be billed for missed appointments.

What are the hours you see clients? Do you have weekend appointments?

I generally see clients between the hours of 10:30a - 7:30p. I fully understand how busy life can be and try my best to accommodate around work and school schedules as needed.

That being said, I am not a morning person. If you are looking for a provider who will meet with you at 7am before work or school, I am not that provider and I recommend seeking care elsewhere!

I do not offer weekend appointments at this time.
