Hi! I’m Leah.
I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and have been working in the mental health field for the past 8 years. I am also a mom, a partner, a daughter, a friend, a sister, and a human being existing on planet earth in 2024 (which is stressful to say the least).
I provide evidence-based medication management and supportive psychotherapy to individuals ages 9 and up. I also provide an empathetic, respectful, & non-judgmental space for my clients to approach and explore whatever challenges they may be facing. I am passionate about helping my clients improve their functionality and quality of life, and I consider it a privilege to accompany my clients as a teammate and cheerleader as they navigate life’s ups and downs.
My style is flexible, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I encourage and empower my clients to take an active role in their treatment planning; I expect that they will work as hard as I do to take the steps towards the change they wish to see in their lives. I value each client’s individuality and take a holistic view of their lives when considering the best treatment for them as well.
I understand firsthand how messy, overwhelming, and painful life can be. I truly believe that no one should suffer alone. Above all else, I want my clients to feel safe, heard, and supported.
